Passion from the Library Studio

The “Passion” album is the result of a lot of good will from my church, First Baptist of Prineville, that have allowed me to haunt the church library and convert it into a “studio.” I don’t know how many times I freaked somebody out, walking out from behind the sanctuary in the dark with a wild look in my eyes after recording tracks, but it was definitely more than once!

“Passion” was recorded over the course of about 2 years, and couldn’t have been done without the support of my pastors and church leadership. It is rare that a church leadership team will give so much grace and support to a relatively unknown artist…for this I am eternally grateful.

Recording an album is a lot of work, but for me it has been prayer. Time spent in the back library surrounded by music and scripture has had a positive effect on my relationship with God and the church. I hope some of that goodness is transferred to you as you listen to the music.

You can feel the fake trees on the album, they add a certain vibe that you can't get from Nashville studios.

This is roughly the collection of gear I use to work out parts and play live.
